While they can still find gold thanks to trace amounts of iron and conductivity, they require more precision and different detection techniques to do so. Which makes gold-finding metal detectors more costly. I'm sure Potato has a nice savings account accrued from Fuzzy PotatCo. But he would have Bean on a budget in order to keep their retirement well funded.
