Trapped Nail
We're pretty used to clipping the pigs nails now. The hardest part to learn is how deep to clip them without catching some of the quick, which extends down inside of the nail. The easiest way to avoid that is let them get a little long, and then it's pretty obvious which part is too long and needs to be clipped. The problem is, they curl in on themselves and they can get hung up on the clippers.
This would actually make it easier to clip them at the right spot. But the pigs often try to yank them away at the last second, and when they find their nail is hung up on something, they panic and start flailing.
