Toe Monster
Clipping guinea pig toenails is pretty unpleasant. The pigs don't like it, because they have to be sat up like they're in a narrow airplane seat. And the nails are small and a little tough to cut. And their quick grows way down into the nail and is hard to see, and cutting it can cause an infection (plus it hurts!) so you really want to avoid it.
But you have to do it or their nails grow into crazy curly things that are very uncomfortable to walk on. Fuzzy also gets foot spurs, which are thick, callus looking chunks of skin growing out of his feet that look like extra toenails and have to be trimmed occasionally so they don't get hung up on things. I think that's why they plop down and look so cuddly, they're trying to hide their funky, problematic feet.
