	Wednesday, October 6, 2021 Sleeping Again As prey animals, guinea pigs can sleep with their eyes open. It's pretty funny to see them sitting there, seeming like they're looking at you, but they're actually snoozing. They do also close their eyes when they sleep sometimes, it just depends how alert they want to be. Although the unrealistic part of this is that a carrot would definitely rouse Fuzzy. When he sleeps, his subconscious is on the lookout for predators, and carrots.
