Kid's Table
Usually whether the fish feed at the top of the tank or at the bottom is based on their grazing habits in their natural habitat. That's how it is for the tetra. Tetra's live in South American streams, scrounging for food near the bottom using vegetation as cover.

But for our Mollies, it seems like a social order. The young kids all hang out at the bottom with the tetra, while the adults get first pick at the top of the tank. I'm sure it's more about protecting the young from harm, but it is funny how there is a kid's table where they only get the leftovers that fall past the adults.
