	Tuesday, February 7, 2023 Talking Plants We tried again to upgrade our tank with live plants and this time succeeded. The fish tank is now full of bright, natural greenery, and all that plastic stuff is gone. Our second batch of plants, however, came with a snail. It wasn't until later that we noticed the store they came from didn't even bother to try to remove snails from their plants. The plant tank was totally packed with them. At first we were pretty excited to see a new, baby snail to live with Dotty, Spotty, Raven, and Stripes. We named him Big Guy, because he was so tiny... Until we realized he was a pond snail, an invasive species capable of reproducing by himself. Now he lives somewhere in the park.
