	Monday, February 19, 2024 Potato Dentistry Of course Potato is famous for his ultra-loud squeals when he's being picked up. He enjoys lap time and doesn't struggle, so we assume he's just notifying the rest of the herd. And then when he's being held he quietly wheeks. He's definitely gossiping with us about the other pigs. It's a shame we can't understand, but we can guess what he's saying. He stops wheeking to grind his teeth. You here little clicking noises from his mouth. This is good dental hygiene for a guinea pig. Pigs that don't grind their teeth enough end up with in-growth teeth and have to see a doctor for it, so he's taking good care of himself.
